Photography permits
Photography and filming in the museum is strictly for private use only. Prior permission in writing from the museum’s director must be obtained for all photographs or film or sound recordings that are not solely for private use.
Cloakroom
There is no cloakroom at the museum. Visitors can take jackets, bags and rucksacks into the museum.
Barrier-free access
There is a lift that gives visitors with limited mobility access to the city wall and the Myth Lab.
Those with limited mobility can access the entire content of the museum tours on their media guide.
Food and drink
The Museum Cafè has a vending machine for snacks and cold drinks and also a hot-drinks machine.
In the café, visitors can also consume food that they have brought with them.
Museum Shop
Our museum shop sells all kinds of articles to do with the Song of the Nibelungs and Wagner’s Ring cycle. It has books and exhibition catalogues, a good selection of relevant specialist literature, books for children and young people, DVDs and gift ideas.
